+When selecting your size, be sure to pick a cone depth that is longer than the distance between the pet's neck (where the collar sits) and the end of the pet's snout. (To get this measurement, start at the collar and measure along the cheek, straight to the nose. Do not measure over the head.) The cone must go past the pet's nose or the pet will be able to get around it. The best way to ensure your pet cannot get out of the cone is to use a piece of gauze threaded through the loops and secured tightly. This also helps to tighten a larger cone, when you have to go up one size for the proper depth.
Please supervise your pet when they wear the cone, especially the first time. Some dogs will still figure out a way to get at stitches, hot spots, etc. These cases are rare, but they do occur.

This is so much better than that terrible plastic cone. It was breaking my heart to see my little dog try to get comfortable on the couch with the traditional e-collar. She ajusted well to the Comfy Cone. The velcro makes it easy to take on and off. Another plus is the fact that she doesn't hurt my legs when she runs into me. I am throwing away the plastic cone!

I can't say enough, this is the best thing I could have ever bought! I searched for an alternative but this seemed to be my only solution, I have to say that it is better than I expected! Not only does it fit all of my 3 dogs of all different sizes, it is very durable. My dog is still able to play, eat, drink and sleep as if nothing was wrong! The velcro is great and the edge is reflective for walking at night! I wish I had this years ago instead of the plastic ones and the miserable days for me and my dogs! I recommend this to anyone and everyone, it's great to have on hand if you have dogs that are prone to injury, etc! The product arrived in NJ from WA in 3 days! Thanks Patti and staff!

I am delighted with the comfy cone. I have refused to use the old plastic cone throughout the many years I've had dogs. I think it is barbaric and inhumane. I have always figured out another way to protect my dog when needed. The comfy cone is a wonderful improvement and feel very comfortable using it with my senior Golden rescue dog. He is adjusting well to it. Secondly I'd like to thank you for all of the help I received immediately from you. I think your web site should have a plus 10 for customer service and I intend to spread the word. You made my crisis so much easier. The cone even arrived a day early and beat the USPS emails...now that's great service. I've already told my vet about this great product. Thank you for taking a personal interest in my Dakota.

We used the All Four Paws soft E-collar for the first time after Mitzi, our standard poodle, had surgery and needed to be kept from licking at the stitches. We left the vet's office with the usual awful hard plastic E collar. I put it on Mitzi and she was miserable. I also feared for the paint on my walls as she banged her way around the house. However, I soon learned about the soft collar from Paws & Claws; bought it, and started using it immediately. What a difference! Mitzi tolerated it much more readily and she could roam where she wanted to around the house without me having to chaperone her every move. Plus, the velcro fasteners make for easy-on and easy-off. We've used it now for two weeks - something I never could have done with the plastic E collar. I highly recommend this product for your post-surgery pet!

The product speaks for itsellf, just so much more humane. This particular site was great. First of all they had the collar. I called lots of stores here looking for it and also had no luck with most places online. My dog was having surgery and I got the collar within 2-3 days. It's great, and so are they.

I purchased this cone for our dog who recently had surgery on his ear. It worked amazing well! Say good-bye to bruised chins and calves, scratches on the walls and furniture - and say hello to more comfort for your dog and regained sanity for yourself! Please note: The fabric is somewhat flexible, so I dont know if it would be effective in keeping a dog from biting at (e.g.) a foot bandage/sutures. But I highly recommend this cone for dogs recovery from any type of head surgery (e.g. mouth, nose, ears, etc.)

Our Rat Terrier, Jackson, has allergies and has been chewing all four of his paws.We tried a hard plastic cone while we change his food and medicate, but with his long legs, could still reach his paws! The Comfy Cone has been a blessing- we've only had it four days, and we see a HUGE difference- because it is solid black, he is much calmer- follow the instructions and get the next size up if you don't want your dog to reach his paws. Jackson's paws are no longer pink, the hair is growing back, he's more relaxed and no more black and blue marks on my legs from the hard cone! Definitely worth the money!

I'm so glad we purchased this before our kitten had surgery to remove ear polyps. The Comfy Cone protected the incisions on her neck, but she was still able to eat and sleep comfortably. It was easy to fold back; it was also easy to clean. Shipping was very fast. Our vet loved the Comfy Cone and wanted to know where we got it!

Buy this product! If your pet just has to be in a cone get this one. My dog used it when he was neutered and when he had eye surgery. With the surgery he wore it for 6 weeks. I don't think either of us would have survived it without the soft cone
